The simple act of exploring new ideas can be an inspiration. When we see innovation, it can spark our own creativity, and jolt us out of any non-creative funk.
In this post we look at 4 websites that share the purpose of collating creativity.
Use these sites for your own dose of daily inspiration 🙂
Product Hunt
Product Hunt is an online community where members submit and vote up the best new tech products they’ve seen. Earlier this year Product Hunt won TechCrunch’s Crunchie Award for “best new startup”…just another feather in the cap for this bright-spark idea. I started looking at Product Hunt in the last few months and could easily stay on the site for hours. It’s the place to go to spot meteoric ideas before they hit the mainstream. Whether you’re an inventor, an internet enthusiast, or an entrepreneur, you’ll find inspiration on Product Hunt.
Betalist
One of Betalist’s taglines is ‘Don’t Miss Out On The Next Big Thing’ and this accurately sums up the site’s ethos. Designed to showcase the latest sites that have entrepreneurial spirit, Betalist has already logged an impressive number of sites. When viewing the details of particular ideas, Betalist also suggests similar startups in the same area of industry.
BetaBound
If you’re a bit more hands-on with your innovation, BetaBound collects, organises, and offers great beta-testing opportunities. This extends to ideas that are beyond the internet, like ‘Keyforall’ which allows you to monitor and revoke access to your home. Through the site you can register to get notified of upcoming betas and see which betas are already running.
Product Hoist (Closed since writing this article)
Local grown in Australia, Product Hoist extended similar concepts to Product Hunt for an Australian audience, however, the site has closed since writing this article.
